Background:

Hope School was started in 2011 with a goal of providing quality early years education to needy, orphaned and vulnerable children in the HIV/AIDS ravaged community of Mbita (an island in Lake Victoria), Kenya.
The school is a charitable institution with a large heart for the children. Our teachers and staff excel among those in academia and give personal hands-on attention to each child as they are guided through their education with emphasis on child care, education, health and nutritional support.

Mission:
Hope School, rooted in service to humanity, seeks not only to prepare students academically, but equally strives to produce responsible citizens for our community and our world.
Provision of quality early years education, hygiene, food and nutritional support to needy, orphaned and vulnerable children of Usare village in Mbita, Kenya remains our core mission.

Core Values:
Hope School exists to build a community in which everyone and children in particular, is empowered and equipped with life skills to lead socially and economically empowered lives.
